Our Retirement team combines expertise in retirement and investment consulting to support global organizations worldwide in designing, managing, administering, and communicating all types of retirement plans. Whether a client has a defined benefit pension or a defined contribution plan, we work with them to determine the right approach to design, funding, investing, governing, administering, and employee engagement that fits their specific goals.

Through the use of leading-edge tools and research as well as sophisticated thinking, our team can build tailored solutions for clients that balance retirement program risks and costs with plan objectives and opportunities.

The Role



In this role, you will focus on the growth of retirement services and colleagues within the Carolinas market. You will collaborate with the Market Leader, other Market and Business Leaders and the Head of Retirement, Southeast Region to effectively execute the Retirement business plan. You will lead and develop a team of colleagues, providing broad-based Retirement solutions.

You’ll also be asked to contribute your thought leadership to the overall development of the Retirement business. Your contributions will impact market revenue, regional financial performance, and WTW’s global firm brand and market share. A critical aspect of the role is to champion collaboration between retirement leads and the full suite of retirement solutions.

Performance Objectives:



Financial




  • Operations management and Growth responsibilities

    : Contribute to the development of plans and budgets. Deliver planned performance prioritizing Lead Consultant Revenue growth, client profitability, portfolio diversity and market share growth in accordance with the office/regional/national Business plans.



People




  • Member of Retirement Region Leadership Team

    : Manage, support and execute major Retirement projects and business development initiatives to retain current clients, expand existing relationships and increase market share. Act as a change agent. Participate on Retirement cross functional teams and promote collaboration and teamwork within the office team, market, region, as well as various retirement solutions expertise.

  • Member of local market leadership team

    : Work with the Market Leader and Region Retirement Leaders to ensure cross-Business collaboration and identify business development opportunities and develop strategic business plans that support the strategic direction of the business and the local market. Help initiate and drive new business development opportunities with clients and prospective organizations.




  • People management and development

    : Actively integrate and build team resources into an effective client consulting team. Develop and execute on strategic staffing plans, including attracting and maintaining engagement and retention of key talent, providing career growth opportunities for colleagues, performance management and salary and bonus planning.



Clients




  • Client relationship management and delivery

    : Responsible for the effective distribution of WTW products and services for the Business. Collaborate with Retirement Client Experience, Acquisition/Retention, Solutions, and other Leaders to develop local market client strategies to deepen, broaden and build profitable relationships, including the management and deployment of Consulting colleagues to effectively service clients.

    : Monitor client satisfaction and drive remediation where needed to support thriving and expanding client relationships.

    : Contribute to the development of priority services and consulting processes and demonstrate deep consulting capability in one or more competency areas.



The Requirements

  • Proven success in the design/management of Retirement programs to Fortune 1,000 or organizations of similar size gained in a consulting environment
  • Growth mindset and track record of expanding relationships
  • An executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills
  • Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
  • Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in Retirement approaches and contributing to the development of new tools and approaches
  • Flexibility regarding travel
  • An undergraduate degree is required
