Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
The Global Insurance Network Coordinator works with Global Account Executives, Account Managers, Reinsurance, the International Network of Insurance (INI) and other third-party global insurance carriers to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely policy issuance, reinsurance documentation and premium collection. It is a hybrid between underwriting, account management, reinsurance, project management, and relationship management, and has responsibility to champion Travelers' network and ensure that it is a strategic advantage for the organization.

What Is the Opportunity?
The Global Insurance Network Coordinator works with Global Account Executives, Account Managers, Reinsurance, the International Network of Insurance (INI) and other third-party global insurance carriers to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely policy issuance, reinsurance documentation and premium collection. It is a hybrid between underwriting, account management, reinsurance, project management, and relationship management, and has responsibility to champion Travelers' network and ensure that it is a strategic advantage for the organization.
What Will You Do?
- Work at the account level to identify trends and follow through on corrective system updates, specific partner escalations, and trainings to address root causes.
- Conduct account audits and investigations, working to review reinsurance slips, local policies and endorsements issued, as well as payment and billing statements. Follow up with Account Managers and/or other business partners, as necessary.
- Occasionally lead and contribute to ad hoc projects of high complexity and/or visibility outside of routine responsibilities.
- Assist in portal management and expansion
- Support the accurate input and continual quality maintenance of country information
- Work to expand roles controls and support to Travelers Global Businesses
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in underwriting, insurance operations, or another related field
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills. Communicates respectfully in a positive and professional manner with all customers, third parties, etc. of diverse cultures.
- Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion. Can pivot focus when competing priorities overlap.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Performs work independently. Able to problem solve, work independently, and escalate when appropriate.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Familiarity with the relationships between financial, operational, and technology risks and controls, as well as the insurance industry.
What is a Must Have?
- One year of experience in underwriting or insurance operations.
