Fee Specialist


The Fee Specialist manages and supports various aspects of the fee process. They must possess the ability to analyze fee documents, apply business rationale, and make decisions that will impact revenue splits and allocations. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills. The Fee Specialist will report to a Billing Associate Support Manager and will actively work on establishing and maintaining an effective fee process.

The Role

  • Manage fee request work queue in the service fee system; ensure consistency of fee process across systems and regions
  • Analyze fee documentation for information necessary for proper revenue split/allocation and verify/edit fee information in accounting system as needed
  • Verify/Edit fee request in the service fee system to aid appropriate revenue deferral
  • Identify fee billing schedule (annual vs installment) and confirm approvals as needed; document/track fee payment plans and report metrics regularly
  • Research account information and communicate as needed with field offices, clients etc.; Answer fee related processing questions; research, and respond to emails in Outlook
  • Assist Billing Process Administrator in developing fee process changes as needed; determine process issues and offer suggestions and/or solutions
  • May generate reports, other records, handle paperwork and perform day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Additional tasks and projects as needed

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $55,000-$65,000 USD per year.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
